Logo for Oktopod, An Ebook Publisher

Went about updating a logo that was getting a bit long in the tooth. Previous version had the same octopus design, but had a completely different wordmark, and was in black & white. It also didn't really communicate anything other than "hey look, there's an octopus."

This one at least says, "Ink."

I did the vector work in Illustrator, and post processing in Photoshop. The octopus silhouette was modeled and rendered in Blender, traced in Inkscape, and finally used as a vector in Illustrator (phew!).
